A new hat

One of the main things that we have to be careful of is to make sure that Eirik stays warm enough. If he gets cold, he uses energy to stay warm that he could be using to get bigger. Seeing as how most of the heat that gets lost on a preemie comes off of his head, it's important to always have a hat. The problem with being a little guy is that clothes really run big, and hats are no exception.

Gramma made Eirik a pair of smaller hats that fit a little better than the Gerber hats that he'll soon grow into!

Yo homie... whazzup... Eirik with his 3 gallon melon in 5 gallon baby beanie.

Eirik snuggled against Mom with a new, snugger fitting snookie cap
